Chapter 9
Voices were muffled and seemed far away.
She wouldn’t
be able to hear them clearly or what they were saying exactly; their voices
were soft and calming and she felt peace like there was nothing else then her
in a sort of calm and plenitude...she wasn’t cold or hot...hungry or
thirsty...still she felt content...like she would surrender to stay here
forever...bathed in this light and her sisters murmuring together by her side
... a language so appeasing...like she was part of the words they were
whispering ...
She tried
hard to move or pay attention ... she wanted to ask them something ... she felt
they knew her ... she knew them ... but not from this life ... not someone she
could recognise ... like from somewhere but she couldn’t remember from where
... this unsettled her and ruffles in the air around her...the words started to
feel distorted ... the sounds were mix with the voices now and her plenitude
was shifting to a heaviness ... she could feel the pull and the light fading
... still for one second she could still feel them beside her reassuring her
... there was some sort of urgency in the air now ... she wasn’t disturbing or
intruding...not that she wasn’t supposed to be here ...
She tried to
say something ... tried very very hard but her voice echoed like an echo around
her ... not from her mouth or like talking ... she startled herself ... and
then the heaviness was getting over her ... she was pulled and again the light
was fading and she felt a sort of darkness replacing it ... she knew her eyes
were closed and knew she had to open them ...
She felt
slowly her side against something hard...something hard was under her ... and
she was cold ... no hot ... she could hear a sound from around her but couldn’t
recognise it ... something loud ... not the same type of calming or comforting
sound ...
She could feel now ... the ache in her body
and her head, her dry mouth, the cold and the sweat feverish on her front head...
the smells and the sounds around her ...
She felt
pressure like acid starting invade her head and knew she had to open her eyes
or she wouldn’t be able to after.. she wanted to remember the dream before to
open her eyes, but felt it vanishing from her memory like a blurr now ... her
breathing got her attention ... ... she suddenly felt like the panic taking
over her and sitting up right she took a
gush of air like she just realised she wasn’t breathing ...

Chapter 10
Sitting still she focus on her breath
to paste it down ... her hearing was slowly becoming clearer and she tried to
get her surrounding as her blurred vision from the bright light of the day
compare to the night before was blinding her ... she narrowed her eyes
and placed her hand in them creating a shield ... they were hurting ... the
light was too bright and hurting ... all her body seemed to ache ... but she
realised she was sitting on fresh and fluffy moss like a cushion for her on the
rocks ... she felt cold and realised it was the humidity around her that was
making her chilly ... there was water very close she could hear it and feel the
ground resonating from the vibration ... maybe a river or a fall ... as she
waited getting settled and being able to sorted the details around her, a
beautiful scene was taking shape in front of her ... her eyes were still
painful in her head but the “acid’ pain feel was going away as she was getting
back to consciousness ... she was focusing on the pain in her head and aching
muscles thinking of God ... Merciful and Compassionate ... It was beautiful all
around her... the trees were old and crooked and fresh green moss was climbing
on them ... leaves were twisting and swirling together making a nice ruffle
with the sun shining from between them ... there were lots of birds she could
hear them but not see them hiding within the leaves and branches ... rocks
around were rough but also covered with plumpy tick moss so comfortable to sit
on .. there were animals near by ... maybe in the ground in their den sleeping
until the night ... there was life everywhere, she could feel it .... the water
was just a little creek in front of her passing by, between the bottom of the
rocks where she was sitting ... Pears were sitting on the floor she noticed ...
they must have been falling from the trees behind her ... they were spread
through the long fern stems at the bottom of the trees ... looking above her
head in the trees direction she seen indeed that they were full of pears ...
Wow she felt like taking one ... she felt hungry all of a sudden ...
Rising to
her feet she was unsteady and so extended her arm to hold on to it and when her
balance was she stood slowly ... she was ok and unharmed ... just achy from all
this ... and it was daytime ...she looked around her now that she was standing
and could see only trees, ferns, rocks and moss ... and this little creek
passing by between the rock ... she wasn’t where she had passed out ... of
course she wouldn’t still be there ...thinking to herself , she tried to
remembered ... but it was vague ...
This meant
he didn’t of course hurt her or devoured her either ... she smiled and then
felt guilty almost ... coming back to her serious and shoving the thought from
her head immediately ... getting back her composure ... He was surely fine though
...
This time
she smiled satisfied ... and she was alive ... even thought this seemed like
paradise, she could see and feel so she was alive ... and back...
She decide
to take a pear from the tree and moved toward it reaching for a nice ripe one
... there were still plenty in the trees ... nice full green-yellow with a red
shade on the side ... taking one in her hand she pulled the branch with her
other hand from it ... the pear tucked
from the branch ... It was heavy and warm ... pressing softly to feel if it was
ripped she felt it to be prefect ... she wanted to wash it first ... she
stepped aside and getting her feet slowly down on the rock and holding on with
her extended arm she placed it quickly through the running fresh and cold water
... it was clear and fast ...
Smelling the
pear before to bite in it ...she felt it to have a sweet scent ... she felt the
hunger now and bit in it after checking that there wasn’t any damaged by
insects on it ... It was perfect inside ... from the first bite she could see
the plumpy flesh all intact inside ... it was delicious and sweet, juicy to
refresh her as she was also thirsty ...
“hum ... I
might stay here for a little while then with all these delicious pears to eat
and this soft moss cushion ... “ she said to herself
She reached
for few more pears and washed them too ... assessing the river this time and
where it was coming from or going ... she had no exact idea where she was but
knowing she was for sure at the right place where she was supposed to be !
All the
signs were right from what they had told her she should find herself out if she
succeeded to save him ...
She wondered
where he was now ... what he was doing ... what he looked like now ... she sat
eating in silence listening to her surrounding and meditating on it ...
focussing on her success and the feeling of accomplishment and her reward ...
and on the fact that she was done now and alone here ... alone ... alone in
here alone ...alone and alone ...
“hum...” she
thought to herself “ I should have ask more details as to what i was suppose to
do or go if i did succeed ... ?!”
“now what
...”
After maybe
half an hour she had ate and wasn’t thirsty anymore ... her ache was sort of
better ...
She had
enough place she consider looking around her ... maybe it would help for
guidance ... to know where she was supposed to go or what she was supposed to
do now ...
She went
down few steps to the water again and washed her feet in the cold water ... and
her hands and arms ... and her face from the juicy fruits ... and her front head
from the sweat ... the water was cold but not freezing and felt full ... the
pebbles at the bottom were soft from some deposit on them but the water was
running fast and so, clear ... without particules to be seen or fishes or algue
... she came back to the moss cushion on the rock and stood there
concentrating, grounding herself...slowing her breath she closed her eyes few
seconds and expended her arms to the top of her head the higher possible and
stretched taller and taller her fingers tangled together ... then she twisted
her spine from one side to the other and waited for the release in her spine
... she felt the wave coming upon her and sat ... extending and stretching her
side while her arm to the side almost behind her she pulled her arm the farthest
possible and extended her side ...then the same on the other side ... she
waited again for her spine to unstiff...she twisted her spine with one arm
behind her and the other side and then the bliss came and climbed her spine to
her neck ...she rose to her feet and stretching again to the top of her head
her fingers tangled again...she pulled the higher possible until the bliss and
fluid in her spine climbed this time to her head and felt the plenitude taking
over her ... she sat and folding her legs in front of her she bent herself on
the top of her feet and stayed there resting...few seconds...few
minutes...until the plenitude and dizziness was gone and that she felt herself
again...then she lied down on her back and rested concentrating inside her body,
thinking of God, Merciful and Compassionate...thankful of being alive and to
have provided for her all this to rest, eat, drink and wash ...
The ache and
pain was gone now ... she sat and looked around now feeling awake and ready to
go ... she thought she felt she knew what to do and where to go now ...
Again she
thanked God for guiding her ...
She was
leaving and would follow the creek in the direction of the current she decided
... as there was a Lake near by the water was surely going in that direction
... eventually it was the safest option since the town was close to the lake...
and many citizens had cottages on the Lake so if she was to exit the forest
somewhere else then when she arrive, still the chance to find some road would
be more likely this way.
Before to go
she decided to bring few pears with her for later...she didn’t had any bag or
pockets ... she could only bring few in her hand then and it will have to do
...
Then she
realised it would be difficult to climb or hold on to thing if her hands were
not available ... she ticked ... she really wanted to bring some in case for
later ...
Looking
around she looked to see if she could find something ...
Maybe a
small branch or a big leave ... but only ferns and the branch cracked ...
Thinking ...
all of a sudden she knew how she would bring them ...she cut a long fern from
the bottom without pulling the whole plant...only the long leave...then sliding
her hand along the stem she flattened the leaves along it and it became a long
flexible string ... she twisted it around and around of the pears tip and they
hang from it ... taking another one and doing the same ... she made a knot
together 2 prepared stem and surrounded her waist with it and making then a
knot like a belt... “Ta-Da !” she was laughing at her ingeniosity proud of
herself happy no one was there to see her ... she would have to write this
later at least ...
Confident
with the pride to have solve her trouble and having food with her in case she
was thirsty too ... she started to walk along the creek in the current
direction ...
It was a
small creek and it didn’t seemed to go very far ... with the trees and
ferns...she couldn’t see like if with was clear in a prairie or something ...
She was
holding to the branches or to the rocks ... checking her nature-belt and pears
were still in place.
After few
steps that seemed like about 20 minutes she could hear the water was
changing...it seemed to come for further...no bellow...slowly she went closer
and almost tripped and slided...catching just in time small branch with one
hand, she realised her feet were in mid-air...most likely there was a cliff
there ... a fall maybe ... the branch was cracking and only small ferns around
... she tough to hold on to them and did ... but to get her back out of there
as her feet couldn’t hold on to anything, she had to pull herself out of there
... how would she do this...pulling on the ferns would only get them out of the
ground ... she seen a root from one of the tree and scratched the ground around
it to be able to get her fingers around it and grab it ... the ground was soft
thankfully and except from the dirt getting under her nails she had no problem
digging around the root and grabbed it with her 4 fingers on the outer side
from her so to pull herself holding on like a bar...
She slid
herself on the ground holding to the root and sat after her legs were on the
ground ... she started to breathe again ... her heartbeat was drumming ... she
stayed still cool down and resettled herself ...
Now that she
knew what was ahead she went holding to the tree this time and looked carefully
down ... “Oh my God ... What ... How beautiful...” ...
There was 2
statues standing at the bottom of the rocks, one, the female one, holding a
grooved trunk to the edge of the creek water falling and catching the water
falling to follow the grooved trunked along and ending in a nice fall at the
other end creating a shower for the other statue, male, in front of her for a Forestbathing ritual...

RIPPLES
New Chapter
11
Climbing down from the top of the cliff, using the fainted
trail going through rocks between trees, she arrived at the pond with the beautiful
statues.
The water was clear and cool...after the emotions walking to
get there and even since yesterday, this pond was a blessing.
She walked right in the water to her knee level and assessed
how she felt first and if she would see something coming from the sandy bottom under
her feet ...nothing...still the water was clear.
The breeze was making
the leaves sing and swirl with sunlight going through the top of the trees and
branches. Waiting even few more minutes to assess if anyone was near by and
analysis the dept and shapes of this pond; shallow, no fishes or crayfish, no
rocks, only white sand and clear water; further the pond was going through what
looked like another creek, disappearing in between tick bushes. This place was
private and secluded, prepared obviously for Ritual Forest Bathing; Coming out
of the water to the shore, she waited after sprinkling water to her hair, arms
and neck to refresh herself and clean very quick; the rest will have to wait
for later. Sitting in Lotus pose, she stayed still until the sun was setting
and the night falling slowly on the pond area, enveloping it with this
stillness and silence at dusk, in between night and day; The light was leaving
slowly to shrink to a halo around her and be replace by shadows dancing in the
trees and branches around her, new sound could be eard, from crickets or bats
flying eratically above the trees top,
chasing insects. She was still sitting still and listening, no sound of animals
or movement around her. The pond area was still silent.
Soon the moon would show through the branches and she could
start her Ritual. Letting the transition from day to dusk to night reach her
inside, and feel in sink with it; soon her heartbeat showed anticipation and
she felt the moon was coming soon to light the pond where she was in total
darkness now; all she could ear was the water falling from the statue to the
pond like a small fountain. She imagine God light still inside her and felt
safe anyways.
Finally, after this long wait, she showed big and bright in
the sky through the branches, warming up her surrounding, making all feel safe
again and not alone. She could see all around her clearly to the tick bushes.
She stood and ate a pear from the ones she had brought.
Letting slowly the moon light falling on the top of her head and invade her
slowly, then warming her whole body like a blessing. She then removed her
clothes and walked in the pond to the statues, letting the fresh and now warm
water, fall on her head softly as she could move the grooved trunk from the
first statue to adjust the waterfall for her instead of the second one. She
stayed there still, not moving, becoming one with the water falling on her
head...until she didn’t feel it as a waterfall or the urges to move or go
away...until she was like the statue who had been there first...until she
couldn’t feel the difference from the water and her body...until she was like
one with it...and could ear only the water sound all around her...
Her eyes were closed, she wasn’t feeling cold anymore or
hungry, she didn’t feel her aches from the sitting the whole day or the
standing there in a pond to her knee under water falling at night in a
forest...the she felt the stillness was inside her...the moon moved to the
waterfall area and fell on her head and bathed her at the same time then the
waterfall...she felt it taking over her...she was lifting...shifting...her eyes
were still closed and the sound was just a deep sound like drumming with
chanting... reaching deep inside her, she started to chant to the same rythm...her
chakras resonating to the same paste...her energy becoming brighter like the
moon around her now...enveloping her...she felt she was in the light...a safe
secure light...she was one with the light, the waterfall and the moon...only
light and the chanting from inside her...
Was she still there...
? She couldn’t open her eyes or would break the
transe and have to figure to do without the experience...

Chapter 12
Going for her morning walk, she
decided to check this nice waterfall she always like...not too far since she
left early...going through the trail was easy and well maintained...lots of
squirrels and birds...she really enjoyed the feel of calm this would bring from
her, after a long week at the office, indoor, crowded with the phone ringing
and having to be on the top of everything at all moments. Now she could waist
time, walk slow or fast, sing or laugh, smile by herself or talk to a bird...she
felt free...
Around the edge of a little creek coming from the bushes, she
felt like a strange energy, like a bliss or ... maybe just peaceful area ?!...
Not sure she walked looking through the bushes and found a small path in the
direction of water falling, a river or another fall... after only few steps
through these bushes, she seen the pond with the sandy bottom, the waterfall
and the cliff wall...Amazed by this...I
never even knew there was another waterfall here ?! How beautiful.. She touched the water and
it was cold...freezing!!! She still stepped out of her running shoes and
stepped in the water...freezing...but it was so calm and peaceful here. She felt like she was protected ...
After only few minutes her feet were already cold and she stepped
out of the water...sitting for few minutes to enjoy this...she leaned on her
arm behind her and her hand touched something in the herbs ... startled she
moved her hand quickly and looked a little scared...pears !!! A bunch of pears there, tighted together with a branch ?!
She looked above to the trees, and seen no pear tree ?! Who had left this here !...she started to feel a little spooked
and decided to leave at once...
Leaving the pears there she stood and looking around seen
something else close to the pears...clothes
??!!...Someone had came here and bathed in this freezing water ??!! Now she
felt she was intruding and possibly disturbing someone hut...Leaving she
stopped...What if it was a missing person
?! She should maybe brought this to the police attention ... What if this person came back and
...need...her clothes...how helpful to not find them there...maybe the person
naked eard her and hidden themself ??!!! she looked at them brushing the
pile...very small and light...women for sure...thankfully not a naked guy
around ??!! Now what...she wasn’t to
call out to embarrass the person...she wasn’t either to start to look for the
person by herself either...without any evidence how would the police make a
search warrent...maybe she could bring
one piece of clothing and leave the rest there...good idea ! she
tought...like this it will be easier to find the place again if the person was
missing...
She took the linen vest...so soft and light...and left the
robe and the shoes...and left by the same trail between the bushes and right
back to her home.
