Chapter 1
In
the Gods Temple, the tension was high ... Goddess Ariadne was pacing back and
forth furiously and the others were waiting also somber ...
God Zeus
entered followed by his brothers God Posseidon and God Hades; Goddess Demeter, wife and sister of
God Zeus, followed by their daughter Persephone, also wife of Hades...
They took
their seat with stern and unpleased looks
“It has happened
again ! “ Shouted furiously Goddess Ariadne with tears in her eyes ...
No one said
a word as they all knew what was the situation and were just as furious as her
too
“They have
requested more number of humans this time !!! “ She shouted again ...
“The Humans
Council have agreed with them ... only 4 were left to talk with them...the ones that were opposing are missing or dead !”
She stated outraged loudly
Goddess Persephone turned on herself hiding her furry as well earing
this ... this wasn’t missed by God Hades her Husband who tensed looking at her
... he hated to see her upset ... Rumbled started to happen under their feets
and Goddess Demeter went to her daughter to comfort her silently ...
God Zeus
was silent and stern ... he was trying to control his anger at them ...
Goddess Ariadne
pacing back and forth looked at God Zeus , and then at God Posseidon and God Hades
“Minautor
has refused to listen to any argument
from us too ... God Zeus said ...they have rewarded him for too long and now
they can’t control him ...”
“This can’t
continue to happen ...he will devaste the entire Island !” She shouted again
her voice trembling “They have no more to send ... every year they are younger
... “ She broke in tears
God Posseidon’s
look got sombrer and the ground trembled again ...
“We do not
want to send anyone ... but they insist that they will appeased Minautor by
doing so and that there is no other way or he will rampage freely the whole
Island !” Goddess Ariadne said
Hades interrupted
her and said talking to his brother “ Zeus brother ! What should we be doing
...? Ariadne is right, that his demands only increases every year and still he
is not appeased but only grow more and more addicted ...! This is not tolerable
...” He said loudly too and his skin was getting greyer ...the light around him
was fading as he was getting more and more furious ...
Minautor is
too strong and take what can’t defend itself ... he will continue until we are
all vanished if not stopped !!! He shouted too and the room got darker in a
second ...
“Hades and Ariadne
are right...” God Posseidon stumpt “ I would have helped a long time ago when
this all started but they isolated him in this labyrinth to protect him with this
Grotesq game ... !!! “
“This is
what happens when you let these humans decide !!!” God Hades stumped at his
turn
God Zeus
made a hand gestured to quiet them
Goddess Demeter
came to speak too “Brother...We have to put an end to this or I fear Hades is
right ... this is having effect on us too and our role ... what will be left
for us Goddess of fertility or health or harvest ...if no one is to be old
enough to harvest unless to be given to this BEAST Minautor !!! “ She said her
voice high pitch ...
“Please my
love ...” God Zeus said to her trying to console her
God Hades
turned on his heal and walked a little aside and the darkness was following him
...
“See ...
she pleaded ... this will be what will replace what we have built for the humans
too ... they haven’t broken any rules ...they do not deserve this ... !!! “
God Zeus
seemed upset also “ Yes this is all very delicate ... as Minautor is the son of
Minos and he will be furious if we interfere ...”
“Peoples
are starting to say they will not have more children if it is to have this fate
!!! “ Goddess Ariadne stated abruptly taking the occasion as the topic had been
open by Goddess Demeter ...
Zeus eyes opened in disbeleived
“That is
all your fault !!! “ God Hades shouted to God Posseidon ... “if you would not
have his wife fall for this Bull !!! “ And the dark cloudish smoke started to
come from under his feet ...
“Hades !...” Goddess Persephone
called to him to stop him
He stared at her and turned
around looking at the wall and tried to control himself...the black smoke
stopped
God posseidon turned on his
heels too ... obviously shock and upset at the turn of event ...
Goddess Persephone and Demeter
went to comfort Goddess Ariadne as they were all crying

Chapter 2
God Zeus outraged and silent
was thinking ... God Posseidon and God Hades were each turned to opposite direction
facing wall to hide and control their own outburst of rage ...
The Goddesses were crying
together and Zeus was looking at them ... seeming puzzled on how to settled or
resolve this affair ...
After what seemed days of
silence ... He stepped up from his seat and asked them to pay attention ...
“This a dark time for us and
a difficult thing to settled ...” God Zeus said sternly to make a point ... “We
can not directly eliminate Minautor even with all his greedy outrageous and
grotesq requests because he is the son of Minos ... “ he said with a tone of
almost regret ... he took a breath and continued “We can’t either let him
continue until the Island is rampaged and that we are vanished ...” He added
strongly and severely ...
“We will send a warrior to
battled him in a duel ... and if he wins ...all humans and us will be freed
from this Monster !!!”
They all fallen
thundershocked ... with cross looks they started at him in disbelief ... jaws
dropping ... fists clenching ... flushing cheeks of rage ... tears falling from
eyes ...
“ But ... my dear ... who
will we send to fight this Monster !? “ Goddess Demeter asked softly ...”One of
us ?”
“God Posseidon stepped forward
at the same time then God Hades ... “I will do it ...” God Hades said quicker
with a tone of almost relieve ...”No...I will do it ...” God Posseidon interrupted
abruptly “I am the reason this all happen “ he added
God Zeus looked at them ... “This
will not work as it will be too easy for one of us ...and as I explained ... we
can’t just eliminate him ...” He repeated ...
God Hades started to furry
again “That is intolerable !!!” he shouted ... and they almost all trembled ...
his wife Goddess Persephone looked upset but didn’t said anything this
time and only looked sideway ...
“We will send Theseus !!!
...” God Zeus added ...”He is the strongest and best warrior we have from the
humans ...” he said with a look that pleaded some encouragement
Goddess Ariadne screemed and
fell to the side in tears ...
All looking at her and God
Zeus seeming shocked by the exaggerated dramatic reaction of Goddess Ariadne
... before he would get offended and now furious at the disrespectful of Goddess
Ariadne ...Goddess Demeter said to him ... “He is a strong warrior...but he can’t
not challenged a Minautor !!! A Monster Beast and in a labirynth !!! How is it
that he could even survive or win ... This is not less sending another one to
him !!!” She said her voice screeching in sadness ...
“This is the best idea and
only we have ... “ God Zeus replied “We have tried other solutions and
arrangements in vain ...and they have eliminated the opposing in case of a vote
...” ... “This will at least show our disapproval of the whole grotesq
arrangement and that we will not send innocent defenceless as they try “ He
shouted and the whole ground trembled ... The sky was darkened already and the
lightning was flying in waves in the sky and falling to the Earth ground ...
with heavy rains ... The clouds were black with the smoke from God Hades and so
the sky was darken and the waves in the ocean were high ...
Goddess Ariadne wanted to say something but Goddess Demeter interrupted her with a soft gesture of her hand on her harm and so she didn’t ... Goddess Persephone on the side of them seemed furiously silent ... her eyes were pales now from the rage of feeling helpless ...

Chapter 3
Goddess Adriadne later back to earth with her love Theseus ...
Theseus had just found out
that he would be the one to battle the Minautor
and seemed disturbed ...
“Ariadne ! “ he said has she
entered the room where he was “I have something of great importance to tell you “ he said to
her in a tone of serious sadness but that she should stay calm , she looked at
him silently pretending that she didn’t already knew what he was going to tell
her and hopinginside that God Zeus had changed his mind by the time she would
be here with Theseus
“I have been choosen as the
warrior to battle the Minautor ...” he said slowly with sadness in his voice
Goddess Ariadne looked at
him and he continued
“This is an honnor they
chosen me and think i could defeated him finally ...” he added but with a tone
of repressed furie and disbelieved
“ I know “ Goddess Ariadne
added
Theseus looked at her even
more disbelieved and turned on his heels to hide his furie ...
After what looked like hours
standing in silence he turned and looked at her and asked “ So ... you agreed
this is the best solution ...” he suggested
Tears of rage started to
fall on her cheeks and her eyes where becoming more pales ... she looked at him
and he startled as he had never seen her upset
“ Zeus... we had a meeting
and it was decided this way because it has to be a human that defeats him
...since he is Minos’s son ... “ she said “Posseidon and hades wanted to battle
him and would win for sure but ...” she paused for a moment “ It would not
really be a battle and this would mean that they had just eliminated him “ She
said now turning on her heel
Theseus came around her and
wrapped his arms around her and her head fell on his shoulder “I am sorry ...”
she said not looking at him “We tried to argue but there wasn’t any other
solution ...” she said softly

Chapter 4
After their meeting, Goddess
Persephone went privately talk to her uncle God Posseidon ...
“Posseidon, you know that
Theseus is the strongest warrior and that he will comply with his mission
proudly ... but I fear that this is an unfair battle ... how could he win over
the Minautor !” she said angry and silently ...
“ I know my dear ...” He
said to Persephone with a tone of sadness to calm her
“ I fear that Goddess
Ariadne has fallen in love and has involved herself with Theseus too ... “ she said abruptly like she had threw a rocket
at him
His eyes went wide and he
looked to the side “ Ah ! ... that is
what it was about ...” He added fist clenching walking on the side of her so
she couldn’t see his expression
“Only to make the matter
more difficult ... “ He added sternly
“I didn’t want to say
anything in front of my father ... but this is very unauspicious if they fell
in love already ...” She added with a high pitch voice trying to be silent
He was thinking ... “There
is no other warrior that can do this ... certainly he is the strongest “ God Posseidon
added
“ What do you came to ask me
... if I can cast another of my curse at him ...” he asked looking at her ...
she looked almost happy about the thought ... then she looked guilty
“Not after what happened
last ... see now ...” He said sad
“Yes ... no I wasn’t asking
you this either to put this on your shoulders ...” she said still furious ... “but
... certainly there is more we can do to help them ... him i mean ... because
loosing this warrior for the Human would be terrible too ... and for poor
Ariadne “ she jerked almost throwing up of empathy for her position
His look was dark too “yes
...this is all very intolerable ... I barely hold to myself to just jump and
cut his throat myself !!!” he said furiously trying to be silent too

Chapter 5
Goddess Athena came to meet
Persephone
“ This is most unacceptable “
She stated on a furious tone
“You give this to Ariadne
... “ She told Persephone
“Thank you Athena for coming
to help ... “ Goddess Persephone said relieved and curious to see what is was
She interrupted her on her
track before she said something “ This is not illegal for the battle ... and
will help Theseus “ She added and disappeared

Goddess Persephone found Goddess
Ariadne alone and crying and came to comfort her and showed her what Goddess
Athena had given her for her “Look Ariadne ... Goddess Athena had given me this
for you to give Theseus to help him in his battle” She said to her softly

Chapter 6
The next day Goddess Ariadne
went alone to meet the Minautor before the battle with Theseus
He laughed loudly ... “Goddess
Ariadne !? “ he said with a comical and theatrical tone “ What bring you here
... ? “ he snorted
“ Are you in anticipation of
tomorrows Battle ... ?! “ he added through his teeths
Goddess Ariadne only looked
at him without answer as she was looking at something disdainful ...
He darkened seeing that she
was not on his side or looking to make a deal with him in his favour
“ I heard your kind has
changed the rule for this year sacrifice ... “ He said seeming unpleased ... her
blood almost froze in her veins ... He tried to look past her and through her
but he couldn’t ...
Changing his tactic “Such a
young beautiful young maiden like you ... what will happened after the battle
... ? I could make you my Partner and young forever ... “ he tried
“ I am not interested into
your gifts ...” he snapped back but without a provocative tone
“ Think about it my dear ...
what is it you want ... richness ... luxury ... “ he continued softening his
tone as a snake trying to hypnotise her
“ I am not interested into
your gifts ...” she snapped again
“ What a waste ... such a
beautiful Goddess like you and me alone here ... I could make you the
equivalent of Demeter or Athena even ...” narrowing his eyes to scan her and
assess her reaction from his bragging he knew they had talked ... he aimed
closer “ What about Persephone ...” he continued pretending to be amused by his
own game “ What if you could be like Persephone here and share all this with me
like she did with Hades !!! “ he said imitating disdain at his turn
She looked at him narrowing
her eyes this time and he frozed at his turn ... his face started to blurred
and his shapechanging started to loose his power ... he seemed more like the
Tales through the film of Sorcelery he was hidden behind
She didn’t flustered and
continued her stare ... He started to loose some of his composure ...
He looked like a demon
behind the film and she was tempted to totally demasq him an started to feel
amused at her turn to be able to shake his composure ... she started to feel
the anger climbing in her and her hatraged for this Beast and what he did to
the Island peoples ... she felt a presence near her ... “ Ariadne NO ! the voice said ... “
She stopped and staring at
him “Theseus will win !” she blurted and disappeared
He stayed there shocked for
a moment and screemed of outraged ... “ Them ... !!! planning to get rid of ME
!!! “ he shouted to the sky as if she could hear where she had vanished

Chapter 7
Goddess Ariadne met Theseus after
“ Goddess Athena came to
talk to me and gave me this for you tomorrow ... “ She presented him with an
item
He opened and presented the
palm of his hand and she deposited the item
Looking at it puzzled “ That
is what Goddess Athena gave you for me to battle the Minautor ?! “ he paused “A Ball of Yarn “ he said bewildered
“ Yes ... I will explain you
the plan she explained me ...” and they went in secret for her to explain him what
was the plan of a simple ball of yarn to defeat a Minautor ...

Chapter 8
Theseus left at dawn for his
quest to defeat the Minautor for his peoples, with his sword and the yarn
Goddess Ariadne gave him; she kept the ball with her and let him enter the
labyrinth with the string from it ...
The she waited ... waited
... waited what looked like days at the entrabce of this Infernal labyrinth ,
with the ball getting smaller as he walked further into the labyrinth of the Minautor.
Night came and still she
stayed there not moving, waiting for him to come out and securing the ball of
yarn.

Chapter 9 written
October 28th 2023
After a long sleep that felt
like days ... Ariadne woke up from the “torpeur” she was under ... a sound got
her attention and her heart felt like racing ... she could feel something was
going to happen ... she jumped to her feet and indeed she could definitely hear
so sound coming closer to the gate of the maze ... she could sense movements
and muffled voices ... she knew it was him ... he was alive and was coming out
after having conquered the Minautaur ... she stood there by the entrabce of the
maze waiting and there came out one after the other ... childrens ... a dozen
of little faces ... and then followed by Theseus intact !!!
“ Theseus ! “... she ran to
him and hugged him the strongest she could and he leaned his head to hers and
rested his on top of hers ... they holded their front head together for a
moment ... and after smiling at him ... she went to hug the children ...
